First you need to remove the trim bezel around the handle on the outside of the tailgate. Then remove the three bolts on the inside of the tailgate, that hold the handle in place. Next remove the latching mechanism rods from the handle, and remove the handle from the tailgate.
glue it with good glue from Menards
You have to remove the the tailgate trim to access the bulb.
If you are talking about a plastic trim, the best way to remove it is by spraying a wax remover product like McKee's 37 Wax Remover for Plastic, directly on a towel and gently applying it to the plastic trim. It is recommended that you use a trim protectant product after removing the wax, to protect the plastic trim.
Just take it to a shop. Nobody gives a sh*t.
# Remove # Take off the wiper arm. # Remove the plastic cover at the base of the rear wiper assembly (arm+wiper blade) to expose the single nut holding the wiper assembly onto the motor. # Remove the nut, then remove the wiper assembly. # Remove the rubber boot surrounding the wiper attachment. ## Open the tailgate and remove the plastic strap that allows you to close the tailgate from inside the car (two screws) ## Pry off the two plastic covers on the top of the trim near the glass. When you remove the smaller one, a screw will appear ... remove that screw. ## Now start pulling the trim away from the door, starting at the top. It is held to the frame via pressure clips. You'll notice that the bottom half of the trim will release as you start angling the top half away from the frame (no pressure clips at the bottom). # Now remove the interior trim on the tailgate: # From here it's pretty easy... # Disconnect the motor being careful NOT to damage the plastic connector. (prying apart works well by rotating a small flathead screwdriver) # Remove the metal bracket by take the three screws out of the frame. # Take the motor off the metal bracket (two screws) and swap motors. # Go to local pre-school and find a baby, then beat it. Reverse the process to put it back together.

2 torix screws in the handle wells, then pull, it is clipped into holes if you do this carefully the clips will not break
Just use a screwdrive to pull the trim out. They are just clipped in.
Good luck with that. The best way is not to get any wax on the trim in the first place.
