if the drum has 1 or 2 screws on the front of the drum you have to take the screw(s) out
you first take the wheel of then you place your fingers between the grooves or sections towards the backside of the drum with your palm on the front of the drum and try to pull straight if doesnt work wiggles the drum toward you and if that dont work you i mallet loosen it up
you obviously have never worked on a Kia so stop misleading people about how to go about working on them FROM upland ,: my 99 has 4 nuts 17mm?remove those tap with hammer from backside ,this should remove them

YOU would actually have to remove the brake drum and measure them ,the width of the shoe then measure across the diameter of the drum .

If you're trying to remove the brake drum, be sure to NOT have the emergancy brake on. Remove the wheel and tap the drum with a rubber mallet until it releases, That's it!
