It is what they use in surgery to prep patients with and also what they scrub with prior to performing surgery. You may be able to find it at a Home Health Agency type place or ask your physician if they could supply you for a charge with a bottle. Just a drop on a sponge is all you need and it will clean a very large area.
The distributor is Cardinal Health - McGaw Park,IL 60085
For questions you can call 1-773-268-5800 M-F 8am - 4:30pm (got it off the bottle)
Sometimes they can tell you if they supply people outside of the medical facilities or where you can obtain their products (i.e. Home Care Stores, online, etc.).
Next good way is:
Rubbing alcohol (Painful if abrasions are on skin) or Fingernail polish remover works
One way to get surgical tape off the skin rubbing alcohol can be used to remove the sticky residue. The use of an exfoliator can also remove surgical tape residue from the skin.
Yes, 3M adhesive remover will work to remove tape residue on your refrigerator. It is made to remove any kind of adhesive, tape, stickers, etc. on any surface.
You have a few options in all reality. If you use rubbing alcohol it will remove all traces but this would be a bit drying to the skin. Some toners will remove the residue, but Witch Hazel would remove it without altering the pH balance in your skin too much.
The easiest way is to soak the tape in water to release the adhesive in the tape. This may not work because the dog may not like to be in water. It is the best way that will not hurt the dog.
