This is pretty simple-there is a yoke on either end of the drive shaft-one connects to the tranny and one to the rear end. Each one has four bolts. It's a good idea to put some heat to the bolts before trying to remove them, Ford put a thread locker on the bolts and you'll have a hard time turning them without heat. You need a twelve point 12 mm socket to fit the bolts....pretty quick and easy
It unscrews by turning counterclockwise. There is a small "flat" on the shaft to assist in removal.

Hey April==You need to state wheather it is a 2 ot 4 wheel drive. If it is 2 wheel drive, simply remove the caliper first, then remove the spindle nut and pull the rotor off of the car with the hub.
