Unfortunately, you have to take the back seat out.... I wish I were kidding but that's how it's done. Now if you only have to remove the speakers, you can crawl into the trunk with a pair of pliers and reverse the screws with it. You can use #10 screws and lockwashers when you put new speakers in. It's a bit of a hassle but at least you won't have to take your back seat out. (Who designs these things anyway?). Also, look under your passenger-side floor mat to make sure no water leaked in there. I sealed that baby up good but water still gets in there, so now I have to change the towel I stuffed in there every two weeks.... (Again, who designs these things?)
I fohnd theres a Torx bit (t45 i think) that removes the lower seat belt mounts.. with a lot of work.. then you can remove the seat back.. and bend the rear deck carefully.. Good Luck! When i put my Sony Xplode 6 by 9 in my 92 Buick Skylark it was a really big hassle. I hade to take my side panel that is by the passegers inside the car then you have to pull the speaker protect by poping out the pins that whole them then all you have to do is disconnect the wires and unscrew the screw, it take about a hour or two to do.
start by taking the door panel off ....
Front speakers are in the door. remove screws on the door panel, then remove the panel and you'll see the speaker
