Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2005 Chevy Cavalier heater blower motor. Remove the heater blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the heater blower fan.
The blower motor resister is located just to the left of the blower motor on the passengers side right below the blower motor return air tube.......

Remove the instrument panel silencer from the passenger side of the instrument panel. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the blower motor. Remove the three screws that secure the blower motor to the HVAC housing. Remove the blower motor from the HVAC housing by rotating and tilting the motor as needed for clearance of the blower wheel....

Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch . Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor. Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing. Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing............
The 2005 Lesabre has the blower motor mounted under the dash. It is under the glove box on the firewall behind a panel.
Replace the blower motor resistor.
The 2005 Ford F1 50 pickup truck blower motor resistor pack can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor resistor pack is on the passenger side of the firewall.
i Anybody who tells you to remove the four screws to get to the blower motor on the SIERRA is FOS! First remove the cover under the glovebox- No you don't have to remove the glove box. If you can remove the 2 easy ones using 9/32 and a stubby, the third one you can loosen and just let the cover drop. Now disconnect the resistor from the motor. Its a clip so do this in the daytime. Locate the blower motor. Its under the glovebox. Look for the tab on the top of it, by sticking your head in there. rotate the blower motor clockwise and it will drop right out. Don't lose the screws, the hardest part is putting it back together.
