Spray the nuts under the truck that are just behind the cross member with PB Blaster a day in advance and again when getting ready to remove. Unbolt and remove clamp at turbo and remove 2 nuts mentioned before. Cut the down-pipe as close to the turbo from underneath as possible. Remove both pieces. If you want to get it out in 1 piece pull the transmission.
15 quarts of oil are generally oil and filter. its 15W40 diesel oil

The adjustment is on the back of the rear hubs. Below the axle tube is a hole with a black rubber plug in it. Remove the plug and use a brake spoon to adjust the star adjuster.
