Break the window with an iron wrench.
Replace the window regulator.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the wiring harness from the window motor. Remove the track linkage. Remove the window motor retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new window motor.

Depending on whats wrong, to change the glass you need to pop the inside door cap off to locate the the window that is underneath the panel. Then if it needs to be changed then its fairly simple on figuring out on how to remove it. Good Luck.

Good question, I have a 98 and my drivers window will not work at all, and I can roll the rest up and down, but not the rear drivers, I can roll it down but you have to roll it up from the back seat.
If it is an electric window, the motor in the door may be bad, or the wire leading into the door, may be broken or detached. If you can hear the motor running but nothing happens, the window may have come off the track. Either way you will probably have to remove the door panel to get to the door interior.
before you remove the panel check all fuses, but there should be about 3 to 4 screws holding the panel on and the rest are just little tabs on the inside of the door panel that hold it to the door, you can just pull it off with a prybar or screwdriver.
