You will need a set of Ford extraters. You can pick them up at Wal-Mart for around $5. They are U shaped wires with notches on each end. Then you insert one into the two holes on the right and the other on the two holes on the left until you feel them "snap" into place (if you insert them too far they will keep the tabs from unlocking), then press slighty on each tool towards the doors of the car (on the left press it towards the drivers side door) and slowly pull it out with the tools. If you don't feel like buying the tools, you can make some out of a very heavy duty coat hanger, but beware unless you notch them just right it makes it a lot more difficult to get the stereo out. Have you installed an aftermarket radio or is the factory radio still installed? I had put in a aftermarket radio on my 04 Grand Prix and it does not keep date and time installed. That's because the factory radio holds that information for some reason I dont know hope that helps.
