How do you remove the factory installed radio on a 1991 Lincoln town car?

You will need a set of Ford extraters. You can pick them up at Wal-Mart for around $5. They are U shaped wires with notches on each end. Then you insert one into the two holes on the right and the other on the two holes on the left until you feel them "snap" into place (if you insert them too far they will keep the tabs from unlocking), then press slighty on each tool towards the doors of the car (on the left press it towards the drivers side door) and slowly pull it out with the tools. If you don't feel like buying the tools, you can make some out of a very heavy duty coat hanger, but beware unless you notch them just right it makes it a lot more difficult to get the stereo out. Hope this helps.
