Remove the brake caliper. Hang it securely with tie wire. Remove the dust cap from center of wheel, then the cotter pin. Take off the castellated nut. Pull the rotor off. Outer bearing will fall out. Inner bearing can be removed without removing the seal. Re-install: Note where two holes in spindle are for the cotter pin. Tighten the nut down firmly (12 ft/lbs) while rotating wheel forward by hand. This will seat the bearings. Back the nut off of the washer, without disturbing anything. Retighten the nut to finger tight position. Back the nut off until the next hole lines up. But do not back off more than 1/2 a nut flat to get to a hole. Bend the cotter pin so that it will not interfere with the dust cap. (The cap spins the pin does not.) Proper end play is .001 to .005"

The electronic control module for the 1986 Chevy S10 (6 cyc) is located under the rotor on the distributor. You have to remove the distributor cap and then the rotor to gain access.
