I had to learn this the hard way when i installed H.I.D's on my 2008 silverado but to make it easier for you lol, you would have to take the grille out which i believe has 12 clips and there hard to get so take your time because you can easily brake them. after you take the grille out you will have four screws with washer and two clips i think. i actually broke of those two clips and the headlights were pretty loose when i was done so i had to buy it. good luck!..
