first you will have to remove your heater hoses going to your motor to the firewall take them off at the firewall, then there is a big box on your firewall, there is a bunch of screws holding it on remove them you heater core will be inside it.
Pull the top off of the black box on the passenger side of truck under the hood. Remove the two heater hoses. Remove the old heater core. Reverse the process. Top off the radiator with antifreeze and check again after a test drive. Enjoy the heat.

( right side lower passenger compartment ) 4- carefully lower core out of heater unit. This old of a truck it would be wise to replace both heater hoses. Use antifreeze as a lubricant to install heater hoses to new core inlets.
Ground strap on most Chevy engines is on the rear of the passengers side head , goes to the fire wall under heater hoses then to tne frame of the truck

This is not easy. Get a manual from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM It is under the dash on the passengers side of the truck. You shouldn't have to remove the whole dash.

No there is not. Whats the problem no heat ?? If so try this, reverse the heater hoses on the heater core and then go drive the truck and see if you get heat.
Start the truck. Turn on the heater. Hold both hoses in your hands. The first one to feel warm is the inlet.
