Remove the door panel.
I currently have the drivers door panel off of my 1995 sierra and it is a fairly simple task: Here is how I did it. 1. Remove 2 vertical screws in the arm rest. 2. Begin at the bottom rear corner of the poor panel and pry a flat bar, screwdriver, putty knife between the panel and the door. There are 3 pegs along the bottom and 3 up each side that have to popped off. 3. Lift the door upwards and it will come out of the window compartment quite easily. 4. Hard Part!! Unplug speaker and coutesy light and remove power switches as one unit by unclipping from inside of panel. You may want to have a helper for this part.

Your in luck, Just the year I own... start by removing the press in keepers in the bottom of the door panel(round, interior color)there are 5 of these along the very bottom of the door panel. next emove the 2 Phillips screws from the interior door pull handle, the one you use to close the door(look straight down into it) then remove the one Phillips screw from behind the interior door relese handle. carefully with a 90 degree pick, pull straight out on the manuel door lock knob, it will pry off, then slip that piece forward and off so the door panel will clear the lock rod, the mirror/window switches simply pry out of the panel, I just worked my release handle and switches back through the holes in the door panel when removing my panel, slightly tug the door panel up and towards you, it should come right off, good luck and be careful....Kenny W. how do i remove the passenger door inside panel?
This is not a big project. Just remove the screws that hold the interior door handle on. Then there is one screw behind the plastic cover in the interior door side of the mirror. Once you have removes these screws there are several pop in clips that hold the panel on. Just start at the bottom of the door and pop them out by hand. The only thing left to remove is the linkage that connects to the inside handle. This can be done by popping them loose with a screwdriver. It's really not a hard job. Good Luck
