Connector issue, remove it and clean all the contacts and reconnect, use a bit of dielectric grease.
Should be on the left side of the trans right around the shift lever it will have a connector with 3 pins the one in the center is the neutral switch it is also the backup light switch.

Jeep does not use inertia/reset switches.
It should be under the dash on the drivers side.
Remove the wiring harness from the 2003 Jeep Liberty pressure switch. Remove the power steering pressure switch retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pressure switch.
you must remove the steering wheel and turn signal from column. then you can acces the screw to remove the switch.

The brake light switch is behind the brake pedal.

There is a small button on the back of the switch you need to hold down while pulling out the shaft and the attached knob. Then, you can remove the slotted nut freeing the switch.
