How do you remove the passenger exterior door handle on fiesta mk 4?

The only way to change the exterior door handle on the Mk4 fiesta is by taking the inside door panel. It can be a little tricky to do on your own, but I have managed to do both driver side and passenger side. To get the panel off you need to take out 4 screws. One behind the inside handle, one in the bottom tray, one in the side tray and there is one that is holding the inside of your wing mirror. After you have removed all four screws you need to remove the handle for the window. This is quite tricky as it is being held on by horseshoe shaped wire. You need to use a small flat headed screwdriver to prize the horseshoe out. You can now take the panel off. Remove the panel and the insulating lining from the door. Inside the door is a black metal piece which houses the lock and handle and also acts as the runner for the window, you need to remove this, which has two screws. You can now unscrew the exterior handle and replace it with a new one. Then put everything back in reverse order (this bit is a nightmare and nearly resulted in me gaining an ASBO from all the expletives I used on the car). Good Luck
