How do you remove the rear door panel of a Passat?

Might work - but they charge you for the information.

Here's what you have to do - (1) remove torx screw from bottom of door trim (by the courtesy light).

(2) Remove the trim piece from the handle (this is difficult and I damaged mine when using a screwdriver)

(3) Loosen the two Philips screws revealed.

(4) Pull on the trim (if possible, lever the clips with a trim tool or screw driver). Don't pull it off the door as there is a wire connected to the courtesy light.

(5) unclip the wire to the light. (fiddly - it's a locking connector)
