Now I am working on this from the standpoint of my 1996, I assume they are the same. I could be incorrect: Look at the wiper arm from the bottom, you will see a small tab, if you pull the wiper away from the window, and then pull the tab to the bottom, you will lock the wiper away from the glass. if you bull the tab all the way out you will then be able to pull the wiper arm off from the pivot point. The hose is attached to the wiper arm by a clip, you can simply unclip it if this is a temporary thing, for long term removal, I am not sure as I have never had the desire.

You need to remove the wiper arms then the long black debri cover it is held in by about 6 screws then you will see the linkage attached the wiper motor. most of them get corroded. just spray it with WD40 or PB blaster then put back together. It worked on my annoying sqeek....
