Start by removing the negative battery cable from battery. Next get under truck on passager side and disconnect the wires from the starter solenoid, making sure you mark wires to the correct terminals. Then remove the two mounting bolts and lift out starter and solenoid together. Install new one in reverse order. It is easier to get to the starter thru the gap behind the passenger tire in the wheel well.
