Hi, i had the same problem when removing a standard radio from my 06 bentley continental GT. I took it to an incompetant main dealer and he faffed about with no result. i got a car fealer friend to fabricate two long strips of metal to poke down the side, this releases the radio, and allows you to pull it out, hope this is of help. p.s i know it sounds wierd trying to remove a radio from a
