how do you remove the stock radio on a 1996 lexue es300
Begin by removing the decorative radio retaining cover. Remove the radio retaining screws. Slide the radio out, remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the radio.
read the manual that came with the radio or ask a friend that is good with cars!!
You pull out the Stock radio and buy a box to put in in then remove the center dash peice by pulling the bottom and cafully the top. then you can undo the wireing clip behind that and by a new center peice that is made for a radio.
This requires a special tool to remove and install the pulley. Most auto parts stores should have one in stock Best to remove the pulley with the pump removed from the engine compartment.
Not on my 2006 Uplander.
With the help of a Trim Tool, carefully remove the Center Trim Panel from around the Radio. Remove the 4 screws. Pull out Unit. Disconnect Electrical Plug & Antenna. Installation is reverse.....
