Follow the top rad hose down to the water outlet, remove the 2 bolts that hold the outlet down. Old coolant will drain. The stat is in the water outlet; look at how it sits in the outlet then remove it, clean old gasket, install stat same as old one was, install gasket with sealer, snug bolts EVENLY so as not to crack housing.Add coolant to rad, leave rad cap off for 20 minutes to bleed air out of system and top off. Drain the radiator. Remove the top radiator hose on the 2003 Buick Century. Unbolt the hose inlet. Remove the inlet housing and take out the thermostat. Replace the thermostat, install the housing and top hose, and refill with antifreeze.

follow the radaitor hose from the top right side it goes directly to the thermostat housing remove the bolt then there is your thermostat
