Crack loose (don't remove) the water pump pulley bolts then use a 10 inch adjustable wrench and rotate the idler pulley arm CCW to relieve the tension on the belt. The tensioner arm has a boss on the casting that can be used to seat the wrench. I have seen some arms with a 3/8" square hole cast into the arm to accomodate a breaker bar drive instead of having a boss with flats. Relieving the tesnion will allow the belt to slip off the grooved pulley. Remove the belt, remove the pulley nuts. This will allow access to the pump mounting bolts. I think there are 3 or 4 10mmm bolts.
MY husband says- Locate the bottom radiator hose, follow it back to the water pump, remove the bottom radiator hose from the water pump, making sure there is a drain pan underneathe the pump. Locate the bolts on the outside of the pump, remove bolts and pump. Clean the old gasket off of the engine. Apply gasket sealer -then the gasket-then more gasket sealer on the outside of the gasket. Apply new water pump on engine, replace bolts, making sure bolts are tightened to as close as to what they were before. Firm. Re-attach bottom radiator hose, top off fluid, and that should be it. Check for leaks after starting motor.
