There are screws in between the slats of the vent cover.
pop out/up the vent cover that is below the windshield and is the width of the dash. a flat head screwdriver works well to get under the vent cover. once out, you'll easily identify the screws retaining it.
the defrost vent should just pop out by taking a screw driver underneath the sides of the vent cover and prying it up.

I am assuming you want to remove this to view the factory code of the keyless entry module. Start on the passangers side. use a thin metal puty knife. insert the blade between the dash and vent cover and cafefully pry up. the cover is held on by spring clips on the back (dash) side and tabs on the front (windsheild side). work your way across the dash until the entire back side of the vent has been freed. Lift the cover up and back to remove
I believe it's a vent hose and it connects to nothing. It's just there to relieve any pressure.
First you remove the plastic cover on the wiper arm pivots. Second remove the 15mm nuts on the arms. Third you use a puller to remove arms. Fourth remove 5 screws that are in between the vent ribs of cowl cover. Fifth open hood and remove 4 nuts along inside of cover. Sixth lift cover, gently remove washer fluid hose, and remove cover. Seventh unplug large plug on driver side, and unhook drain tubes on each end. Eighth remove 10mm nuts alnog windshield and remove 13mm bolts inside hte assembly into firewall. Assembly will now be loose and can be removed.

you remove the vent and hose it down. there are usually screws holding the vent in place you just have to locate them and remove them in order to clean the ven thoroughly
