From the 1993 Chevy shop manual (has worked on my 91) you slide a thin rag behind the handle (not the plastic piece behind it) at the non-handle round end and slide it back and forth while pulling up and out as doing it. Believe it or not it removes the clip and the handle pops off!
remove the small pin with a pair of plyers, maybe 'needlenose' plyers
remove the clip retaining crank to the regulator shaft, this requires a special tool available at most parts houses.
it can work! but you need exchange de oil pan, oil pump, timing gear, and timing belt cover! also the ditribuitor, I did already on my 97 Geo , using a 95 motor and it work perfect! sounds complicate but is real ease!
Look in the back panel of the headliner ahead of the rear window where the manual crank of the sunroof is.

Remove the inside door panel. Remove the window motor track linkage. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the window motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new window motor.

Remove the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban drivers side door panel. The window mechanism will be visible. Place the new window into the window track. Secure the window to the track.
