Undo the screws holding the AC to the bottom of the dash, let ti drop down, then you can get to the heater core box nuts that hold the core box to the firewall, remove the nuts, remove core box from Jeep, open up core box clean out 30 years of accumulated crap, swap new core in, assembly is just the reverse.

not from the factory
Its a manual / mechanical fuel pump. To check it remove it a look inside. It will be obviouse if its bad. More importantly if its running its not bad. There are no injectors on a 87 Grand Wagoneer. Its corroborated.
according to the owners manual for my 1987 Grand Wagoneer, it holds 20.3 gallons
It is under the dash, on the driver side.
if it is an automatic use ATF + 4
automatic transmissions are filled through the dipstick tube.
Under the car right behind the front axle mid line. Chris
check your timing & up your idle a little
The small Cherokee based Wagoneer is a 5 on 4 1/2" and the Grand Wagoneer is a 6 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern...
Yes you can because we have an 87 with a factory manual window.
In a 1987 it's under the steering column, to the left. Hope it's the same for the 1988.
