How do you repair a 'fuel flow data error' on a 1996 Lincoln Continental?

If you have spark and fuel pressure, the ECM computer is out.
The computer is located on the engine side of the firewall.
There may be a bar that goes from the tops of the strut towers. If so, remove bar and the computer is where a large bundle of wires goes into firewall.
