no, not the same.
www.HelmInc.com has shop manuals
Remove the window motor from regulator. This will free the window for movement.
I would try to swap the pass. side window switch to the drivers' side first. Then it probably is the motor, if you can hear the hum then it's binding in the linkage. Hopefully it didn't fall off track.
Save yourself some grief and take it to a repair shop
Approx.$ 500.00 from les schwab tires but that is in Idaho
Probably a short in the switch needs to be changed.
No
You should have a mechanic check your window to see if it is off track. If it is not, then they will be able to replace the computer so that your window works.
go to markviii.org. they have a answer for almost anything with the lincoln mark viii
One wire should be a 'hot' wire, one 'ground' and the two remaining wires would be a 'low' and 'high' speed. I believe that the Lincoln Mark VIII electric fan is a 2-speed fan. The four wires probably have something to do with the 2 circuits required for the 2 different speeds.
The fronts get changed the normal way, the rears you have to screw in the pistons, don't try to compress them you will ruin the caliber.
