How do you repair keyless entry circuit board for 99 Chrysler Sebring Convertible?
take it to your near autozone,they started making some aftermarket products,if they don't have one for your vehicle take it to a Chrysler dealership and they will match one up but if they have to reprogram it, it will cost extra along with the keyless entry,sometimes they don't have to reprogram them.
I just bought a '99 Sebring convertible that was reposessed. The key is new black. How can I find out if the car originally had a keyless remote?
You have to go to the dealership to have your keyless remote reprogrammed. They have a scan tool to tell the computer that you are using a new key fob. I just did it to my 1997 sebring. I knew the service manager, so he let me borrow it, it took me about 15 minutes, most will do it for a small fee, some will do it as a courtesy.

For a 1997 Chrysler Sebring convertable remote it is pretty easy. Using a coin carefully pry the unit open. Note there is a recessed area to place the coin in. It should easily snap apart.
