The best way to fix this is to diagnose the system and replace the bad parts or you can put the aftermarket spring kit on the car... The spring kit's about $500 and new airbags can be had from ebay for about $80 a bag, or you can get everything to fix the air ride system (4 air bags with the valves, air compressor with a new dryer) for $500... I would fix the air ride if I was you because of the comfortable ride, beats the springs any day!
I think they have air ride shocks in the rear not the whole suspension.
No, the front suspension uses struts. They are like shocks except for that the spring actually sits on it, not separate like the rear suspension.
Usually shocks on the rear. sometimes struts on the front but it depends on the type of suspension on the vehicle.
suspension settings on front and rear shocks on 1999,kx 250
They have double-wishbone suspension both front and rear.
Hello, The 2000 Ford Expedition utilizes shock absorbers in the rear suspension.
All Chevrolet Celebrity's use struts in the front. As information they use shocks in the rear suspension.
It could be your shock or structs(shocks) It could be your shock or structs(shocks) It could be your shock or structs(shocks)
I believe that the rear air shocks are part of an automatic level control system. There is a level sensor on the rear suspension system and a compressor that fills the shocks to raise the rear end. There is also a valve to release the pressure to lower the rear end.
Silly boy... buy the air hose repair kit - it is a Ford part - I think about $15 - the shocks have nothing to do with the rear air suspesion - you must have a leaking air line - fix it.
The 92' Miata, (also known as a MX-5), has a Strut Assembly in the rear suspension. It consist of a Shock, Coil Spring, and a Strut Mount.
Yes , shock absorbers front and rear. 4X4 models or models with the 4X4 suspension (but aren't real 4X4 models) will have rear shocks only and then have torsion bars in the front.
