HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL!
The way that replace a window regulator in a 2003 Buick LeSabre front drive side is by removing the door panel. Next, disconnect the electrical connector on the regulator and replace.
The cable has slipped off a guide or is broken. The regulator is toast. Replace it. Here's a post on how to do it.http://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/repair-topics/window-power-repair/replace-a-power-window-motor-regulator
To repair a stuck driver-side manual window, use a screwdriver to remove the screws attached to the door panel. Pull the door handle away from the door and lower the window regulator to the lowest possible position.
go to flickr, I have several pictures on how to fix.
Call any auto glass repair shop - they should all be able to fix that for you.

I was qouted $217.95 plus tax to replace a shattered driver window.
Take door panel off. and put window back on track.
My sister just paid 180$ for her driver side window, on her 88' buick lasabre. This was just for the track though (to keep the window held up), they said the motor would cost another 100$.
The problem may not be that the window has come off the track. I have a '98 Chrysler Concorde and the driver's side window wasn't operating correctly so I took the interior door panel off and found that one of the brackets that anchor the window to the track had broken. I tried to repair it with JB Weld but it didn't hold. I'm going to have to buy a new window.
