My sister just paid 180$ for her driver side window, on her 88' Buick lasabre. This was just for the track though (to keep the window held up), they said the motor would cost another 100$.
Because its a 1988 Buick LeSabre
in the gas tank
Yes you can. The only difference between the Custom and the Limited is the trim level (Seat fabric, wood grain, etc.) Everything else is interchangeable.
FUEL FILTER ON 1988 BUICK LASABRE IS LOCATED DRIVERS SIDE IN FRONT ON REAR WHEEL ALONG FRAME.
It should be in the black box in the trunk on the passenger side where the jack and lug wrench are
No, they did not. The 1988 would have had the 4T60 transmission and the 1998 would have had the 4T65-E transmission. They are related, being that they're both GM 4-speed automatics designed for a front-wheel-drive layout but they are not the same. In the 1990s the 3800 V6 the Lesabre used saw upgrades in power and torque so a heavier duty transmission was needed to handle that extra power.
the torque for a 1988 lesabre custom is 110 ft. lbs.
With the torque converter about 11 quarts. without about 7 quarts.
I don't believe so. If you have poor/no fuel pressure chances are that your pump is bad. This is a common GM problem.
under the glove box. remove the cover under the glove box the computer and another fuse box is located there.
1988 Buick LeSabre fuse panel (25 slots) is located on left side of dash with 2 spring loaded thumb screws around corner of dash next to upper door. Push in and turn left. This releases the dash panel to left of steering column for access to fuses. A second Fuse and Relay panel is under dash behind glove box on far right passenger side. Mel
A faulty crank sensor can do that.
