i had the same problem with my 94 mustang. the power window motor is riveted into the door frame. if your window is intermittent, than that means the motor itself is going bad. the way to fix this is to get another motor and take it to a service department, or take the car to your local Ford dealer's service department and have a professional install it for you. You can also do a search for this topic on Lincolns and find a couple of other illustrated, step-by-step procedures.
