Drop the fuel tank. There it is, bolted on top, nested inside. Unfortunately, at least on a 91, there's no other way to get to it. I learned this in the desert where I drove into a snow drift which concealed a large rock. 40 miles from the nearest paved road, that rock punched the tank in just enough to drive the wall of the tank into the pump, breaking the plastic nipple to which the fuel line is connected off the pump. Pretty straight forward, but awkward.
On a 1991 Toyota Previa, the fuel filter is typically located underneath the vehicle, mounted along the frame rail on the driver's side. It can be found near the fuel tank, making it accessible for replacement or maintenance. Always ensure to relieve fuel system pressure before attempting to replace the fuel filter for safety.
In a 1991 Toyota Previa, the fuel relay is typically located in the engine compartment fuse box. You may find it labeled as the fuel pump relay. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the vehicle's owner's manual for specific diagrams and information related to the fuse and relay layout.

I used a pump from a Toyota Camry WATCH FUEL PRESSURE LINE ( from filter to tank)HARD TO FIND AND EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE it is made of plastic usually
The fuel filter is located under the vehicle in the area just below the sliding door. You do not have to jack up the vehicle to change this. Be prepared to spill a LOT of gas when removing the filter. Work fast. Don't do it indoors.
You will need to take the fuel tank off the 1991 Toyota Celica GT and remove the fuel pump and replace it. Always make sure to drain the gas before you take the tank off the car.
To replace the fuel filter on a 1995 Toyota Previa, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Locate the fuel filter, which is typically found along the frame rail or near the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter, using a line wrench if necessary, and remove the mounting bolts. Install the new filter in the same orientation, reconnect the fuel lines, and replace the fuse before starting the engine to check for leaks.
On a 2002 Toyota Previa, the fuel filter is located along the fuel line, typically mounted on the chassis frame near the driver's side, just before the fuel tank. It can be accessed from underneath the vehicle, so it's advisable to lift the vehicle safely to reach it. Always ensure to relieve the fuel system pressure before attempting to replace the filter.
To check the fuel pump in a 1991 Toyota Previa, first ensure the vehicle is off and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the fuel pump relay in the fuse box and test it for continuity using a multimeter. Next, you can access the fuel pump by removing the access panel under the rear seat; check for power at the pump connector while turning the ignition on. If there's no power, the issue may lie with the relay, wiring, or fuel pump itself.
Could be the fuel filter... Try that first then go to the fuel lines then injectors. Dirt can get sucked from the bottom of the tanl
On Engine, drivers side, under intake. Very tough to replace. Bad Toyota!
To replace the fuel filter on a 2003 Toyota Previa (Estima/Tarago), first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Next, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Locate the fuel filter, usually found along the fuel line, and use appropriate tools to disconnect the inlet and outlet fuel lines. Replace the old filter with a new one, ensuring the flow direction matches the original, and reconnect the fuel lines and battery terminal before starting the engine to check for leaks.
