The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You may want to go to a car parts store, or book store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

Or you could unplug the fuse for the pumnp, and run the motor till it dies to bleed pressure from the fuel system.

Then take off the neg battery terminal.

Grab the tebs under the bottom of the rear seat and pull outward and upward to remove it.

Loosen two 10mm bolts at the bottom of the backrest to the seat and lift out.

remove the cover you'll see just below the driver's side strut tower.

there will be the pump in all it's splendor! remove the retaining ring, lift the pump out.

Disconnect wire harness('s) and fuel lines.

Do this exactly backwards with the new pump.

Fire it up and enjoy!
