Open the trunk of the car and take out the whole trunk mat. Under that mat by the back seat on the right hand side you will see 2 metal covers. One with wires coming out from under the cover and the other with wires coming out of the center. Remove the cover of the first one with a 10mm tool by taking the 5 nuts off. Lift, possibly pry gently, the cover off and there will be 2 hoses, each attached to a cap on the top of the fuel pump housing. Pull from the bottom of the cap while pushing slightly down on the top to compress the holding mechanism inside to release it from the metal tube attached to the fuel pump housing. Do not take the hoses off the caps. Then turn the ring of plastic (with the raised 'teeth') COUNTER clock wise and then take out the fuel pump but first make sure to unplug all of the power connectors, if you can. Some do not unplug. Once you get it out it should be pretty self explanatory from there just look over the whole pump and you'll figure out how to change it
in the gas tank
