Speedometer cable replace 1989 toyota
The speedometer does not have a cable on a 1994. It is run by a sesnor on the rear of the trans/t-case.
A 2001 Dodge truck does not have a speedometer cable. The speed signal comes from the rear axle speed sensor. (the sensor on top of the center of the rear axle)
IF THE CABLE IS DAMAGED, THE HOUSING IS DAMAGED. ITS A COMMON PROBLEM. REPLACE WITH NEW PARTS
To change the speedometer cable on a 1990 Toyota truck, disconnect the cable, feeding it through the grommet, then disconnect it from the transmission. The process can then be reversed with the new cable.
The exact location of the speedometer cable is dependent upon the make and model of your 1994 pickup truck. In general, the speedometer cable goes from the speedometer to the speed sensor.
well that's not to hard to answer. my truck did the same thing i replace the speedometer cable and sensor in the transmission and i never had that problem since. try that first and see what happens if that wont work then replace the speedometer panel in the dashboard.
If the grinding sound seems to be coming from the speedometer and grinds faster as your speed increases, the likely cause is the speedometer cable. At least some 1990 Dodge trucks (mine) have electric speedometers Len
Possible failed rear axle speed sensor. This truck does not use a cable, the speed signal comes from the ABS.
you will have to replace.
Try blowing graphite down there.
Nope 91 was the last year of that
