Ok this is really anoying to do if you just try and remove it if u have no idea where the "sneaky bolt" is. . .

>>>UNPLUG BATTERY!!!!<<<

When under the car u should be able to locate the starter motor near the RHS of the gearbox where the drive shaft comes out to the wheel. .

Once found i believe from memory its a 12 or 13mm bolt.

>>1st bolt is nasty as it has the Ground cable connected to the second part of this bolt. . u will find that u will need a very thin spanner to hold the 1st part of the bolt whilst u unscrew the nut on the end of it. once done u can slip the ground caple of and unscrew the rest of the bolt. . .(if u hanvt got a thin spanner like me i suggest a cro-bar and jam that in between the bolt and the ground so u can undo the 1st part. . ;)

>>2nd bolt is the "sneaky one" get out from under the car and look into ur engine bay next to the brake booster (round drum) follow the brake lines down towards the engine. . . Bellow the lines is the top of the transmission box. . . fealing the transmission box move ur hand towards the middle of the engine bay where there is a rib on the transmission box (under secondary air resonator) u should be able to feel a bolt there, and maybe see the solenoid for the starter. . . Unscrew this and then give the starter a nice yank. . . it should drop of >>!!be aware that the power cable is still attached to solenoid and must be undone. . .

SO in summary there are two bolts. . . one to be undone from underneath and one from the top of the gear box directly above the starter motor. . .

Ive done allot of mods to my daewoo nd know a fair bit about the electrical and mechanical componenets. . . anyone feel free to add me on myspace if they need help. . Goto "myspace.com/therudz"
