Check out Strutmasters.com, they will have everything that you will need. I have done this and the car rides like before.
If you replace the manual leveling shocks on the rear with regular shocks you also have to replace the rear coil springs with stiffer ones. Use gm part #15182559 or bilstein part #199021 to replace the coil springs. The coil springs that come with the manual leveling shocks are not stiff enough to use with regular shocks, causing the rear end to droop.
It doesn't have struts. It has coil-over shocks.
you have to replace your spark plug wires there is a coil on each wire for each cylinder.
S10 dont have struts the have coil springs and shocks
No , unless the spring is damaged
To replace shocks on a Honda CR-V make sure the car is safely risen and supported. Remove the wheels and suspension components. Loosen the fork bolts and strut support bolts. Remove the assembly. Then use a coil compressor to remove the spring from the shock. Replace the shocks.
Remove the coil that is on top of the plug, then the plug.
There are 4 struts, They are not shocks.. They are called "coil over's". Meaning coil spring over strut. You will need a coil spring compressor to replace them yourself. Rent one at autozone.
The 4Runner doesn't have struts; it has coil-over shocks in front. After removing the old shocks a spring compressor is required to remove the springs and install them on the new shocks. Take it to a front end shop that has the proper compressor and tools; it's very dangerous if you don't have good equipment and experience. The rear shocks are easy to replace by yourself.
HEH 22's, well there are some aftermarket parts to lift an inch or so I forgot what they are called but they are fairly inexpensive they twist into the coil springs to add the height difference, but good luck with your alignment and ride
you have to replace all of your spark plug wires. there is a coil built into the top of each boot that goes over each spark plug. that's why the wires are so costly.
