Where is the Push rod located of a 1999 3.4l?

The pushrods are underneath the valve covers. I assume this 3.4 is in a lumina or something similar (sp). When you remove the valve covers--- you will see 6 rocker arms. One end of the rocker rides on top of the valve-- has a spring on it--- the other end has the push rod in it-- it goes down into the engine. you have to loosen the nut in the center of the rocker to remove the push rod. Has someone told you it has a bent push rod? Hope this helps---Thomas
