To replace the blower motor resistor in a 2003 Grand Prix, first ensure the vehicle is off and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, locate the blower motor resistor, which is typically found under the dashboard on the passenger side, near the blower motor. Remove the screws or clips securing the resistor, disconnect the wiring harness, and pull out the old resistor. Install the new resistor by reversing these steps, ensuring a secure connection before reconnecting the battery.
Take it to a repair shop.
Resistor is located behind the blower motor assembly.
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out. You can replace only the resistor but the resistor probably burned out because the blower motor is going bad. If you want to fix it for good, replace both the blower motor and blower motor speed resistor.
Check to see if you are getting power to blower motor - if so replace blower motor If not check fuse, switch, resistor pack.
the resistor is gonna be right off the blower motor attached to the blower motor by a wire harness should be by the heater core
Check to see if you have 12 volts at the blower motor. If yes then the blower motor is bad. If no, then the resistor, relay, or fuse is bad.

Replace the blower motor resistor block. It is located under the dash on the passenger side.
Please email me a photo of where the blower motor resistor is and how to change it. Thanks, Michael. By the way I want it for a 2000 Sunfire not a Grand Am.
To replace a blower motor on the resistor first you take off the nozzle and then you go into the motor through the nozzle and unlock it then repeat and oil and done.
# Locate the blower resistor under the right-side of the instrument panel # Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor # Remove the blower motor resistor mounting screws and remove the resistor from the housing # Installation is the reverse of removal
The blower motor resistor circuit board has gone bad. Replace the blower motor resistor. I did Still dont work Try the fuses...Had the same problem and it was a blown fuse.
