The engine may not fire when the distributor coil is broken. Replace the distributor coil to see if the problem is resolved.
It is inside the distributor. You have to replace the distributor to service the cam sensor.
That engine does not have a cam sensor. It still has a distributor. If the engine is not firing then I would replace the ignition module that's in the distributor under the cap.

The distributor cap is to the rear of the engine behind the air intake. To replace it, I recommend moving the air intake out of the way.
