See My Bio For Information & Contact Details. Hello, I recently did the front brakes and rotors on my '97 (2WD) It was actually quite easy. It's more like doing a brake job on a front wheel drive car. The rotors come right off after you remove the calipers. If you haven't done any brake work before, I would say to do it along with someone who has done brakes before and knows how. Even if you have a manual, you can still get stuck. Make sure you buy a can of brake parts cleaner and clean the oil off the new rotors before installing them. Good luck .......
replace front brake rotors and pads.
If the truck has disc brakes on the rear then the park brake shoes are located inside the rear rotors. You have to remove the brake calipers, pads and rotors to access them
