The fuel injectors on a 2003 VW Tdi are replaced by disconnecting the wiring harness, fuel supply, and removing the retaining bolts. They can then be pulled from the fuel rail and replaced.
PD = Pump Duese = type of fuel injector used on the TDI engine.
Normal planes have 2,000 gallons of fuel on hand.
Tdi uses an injector pump. Each injector has its own fuel pipe coming from the pump. Timing on the pump is very importand. Crd or common rail has just the rail where the injectors connect to. The pressure in the rail is constant. The ecu controls the injection amount. On tdi the pressure on each pipe opens the injectors. Crd's are more used because they are cost effective.
CHECK UNDER REAR SEAT PASSENGERS SIDE
best bet is to just tap the top of it with a screwdriver and hammer with the engine running, dont hit it to heavy thought :)
It's located within the fuel injector pump remove 3 torx head screws to gain acccess, very easy to change. G.D
A TDI doesn't have spark plugs. It has glow plugs.
If you want good fuel economy, the SDI is for you. If you want a lot of torque, your best bet is to go for the TDI. The SDI doesnt have a turbo but the TDI does.
CRDi
No.
tdi200 gearbox[ie LT77] is better than tdi300
The a6 2.0 tdi has a 2000cc flat 4 cylinder diesel engine. The 2.0 means the 2000cc and the tdi stands for the diesel fuel.
