It's fortunately not too hard.
1) Adjust the steering wheel all the way out and down
2) Lift vertically the U-shaped molding covering the Accordion molding behind the steering wheel
3) Unscrew the two screws holding in the instrument cluster.
4) Pull the instrument cluster straight toward you
5) Carefully disconnect the harnesses in the back of the instrument cluster
6) Remove instrument cluster
7) Swap out the bulb (its not a standard T5 wedge bulb, you have to get them from the dealer)
8) Re-assemble
To remove the cluster to get to the bulb, lower your steering wheel and remove the trim piece. Take out two screws and pull out the instrument cluster.
To reset the "Service" light in Audi TT: With the car turned off Hold the right button on the instrument cluster Turn the key to the on position Push the left button on the instrument cluster Until the Service light goes out. (will say "Service in 10000 miles")
This question needs to be clarified. Are you referring to bulbs? Or the actual assembly?
My dealer said no. The whole instrument cluster needs to be replaced for about $600-$800 dollars, I believe.
there is a dial pin on the left side of the ref counter turn this clockwise and the clster lights will come on then ,
open the tailgate ,and at the side of the light cluster you will find a small round pop out plastic disc, behind which is the release screw for the light cluster.
The dash cluster has to be removed or partially anyway to get to the bulb. Usually there are about four to six screws depending on the model. good luck
the speaker is in the instrument cluster (dont try and take it apart!), and you can have someone go in and change the coding to another country that does not have seat belt warning.
I've written it up here... http://samboutros.wordpress.com/2007/04/02/2003-audi-a4-bulb-replacement/ Steps, pictures and links to bulbs...
How do you replace a 2004 Audi a6 quattro 2.7t starter?
pull on the little knob on the instrument cluster until the clock flashes. adjust (left and right turns) with the knob. keep pulling it to change the hours, minutes, and eventually the calendar.
