how to replace the license plate bulb on a 2004 Honda cr-v
how do you replace a honda crv licence plate bulb on a 2004
( bulb # 168 ) for a 1996 Ford Mustang license plate light
The rear license plate bulbs on a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme are replaced by removing the retaining screws, pulling the light assembly out, and disconnecting the wiring harness. The bulb can then be twisted to remove it and a new bulb put in place.
Remove the screws from the lens covering the bulb, pull out the bulb and replace it.
Reach under the car and feel the back of the license plate light. There's a metal clip, which when squeezed, will allow you to easily pop the license plate light out. Then simply twist the part holding the bulb 90 degrees, and you'll be able to pull the socket out and replace the bulb.
take license's plate off.then unbolt the two hex nuts at top of bumper this is the bolts to take off the housing holding the light over the license plate. then you have two screws to take off the bulb cover. push bulb down and twist to left to get out. just do this in reverse to put back together.
I have a 94 not sure if they are the same but behind the license plate was mine Good luck Answer Improvement (Sept 5. 2010) Remove 4 license plate screws and licence plate Remove 4 hex head screws that hold the license plate/backup light assembly Rotate the license plate/backup light assembly around 180 degrees so you can get to the light bulb holders Carefully turn bulb holders 1/4 and remove bulb holder Carefully remove old bulb and replace with new bulb (#194) Reverse these step to reassemble
