Once you have removed the panel on the driver's side of the trunk you can begin by unplugging the the wire harness which supplies the ground, power and switch leg for the antenna, then remove the 10mm nut holding the bottom bracket to the truck comaprtment. Once that is removed a spanner wrench or even a set of pliers can grasp the outer nut which holds the unit in from outside the vehicle. At this point you can remove the drain tube which is plumbed to the quarter panel in order to remove any moisture that may build up in the unit via the mast.
