Four or six? For both engines you have to take the plastic engine cover off. The 4 should be fairly easy. Remove the plug ignitors and remove the plugs. Engine cold. For the six,you have to remove the air inlet plenum/throttle body assembly to get to the back plugs ,although I have seen several entries on the Toyota Nation Camry forum where members say they have removed the rear plugs without taking the plenum off.New plugs need to be torqued. Use a very small amount of anti-seize on each plug.

1996 Toyota Camry some time spark then no spark?

A 1996 Toyota Camry that will have spark and then sometimes no spark might be having a problem with the spark plugs. Each individual spark plug is now a solid state electrode in that year of Toyota Camry. The ignition coil pack on top of the spark plug is probably loose or cracked.
