From the manual: 5.7L V-8 The PCV valve is mounted into the top of the intake manifold, located to the right / rear of the throttle body (Fig. 12). The PCV valve is sealed to the intake manifold with 2 o-rings (Fig. 13). (1) Remove PCV valve by rotating counter-clockwise 90 degrees until locating tabs have been freed. After tabs have cleared, pull valve straight up from intake manifold. (2) After valve is removed, check condition of 2 valve o-rings.
On the 2.8 it's on top of the plenum at the back. disconnect the hose & unscrew the pcv valve & replace.
Remove the hemi hat its on the left side of the throttle body no hose on its a twist and pull
go to the local auto shop and tell them you ned your pcv valve replaced
Attached to the valve cover is a hose on the driver side. Unscrew the nut closest to the valve cover and that is the PCV valve. It is a straight PCV valve, not the elbow shape you may be looking for.
The PCV just slips out and slips in; no tools required in most cases.
I have 1 1999 Dodge Neon Sport and the PCV valve is located on a hose that comes out of the Valve cover. The hose is very brittle (possibly due to heat) and can crack when you try to replace the PCV valve so be prepared to replace the hose, clamps, etc. as well.
It is on top of the intake manifold. Take the intake plenum off (the plastic cover that says hemi 5.7 on it). Its on the passenger side almost at the firewall. Its right above where the pipe from the egr valve connects to the intake. And it is not like a conventional PCV valve, it gets unscrewed 1/4 turn to get it out and then reverse to install.
Pull upward on the hose that the PCV valve is in. The PCV valve will pull out of the hose. The PCV valve is located in the valve cover.
Where is the pcv valve on 2007 dodge dakota 4.7 mag. Eng.and the egr valve also?
The PCV valve has a check ball in it, That's what you are hearing. REPLACE PCV VALVE
Just pull it out and replace it . The PCV valve is the simplest thing to change out on most vehicles. It sits up on top of the engine with a hose going to it.
The PCV valve is located in the valve cover, on the 4.7L it is in the side of the oil filler housing.
