first you need to evacuate the R-134 freon. Poison so use the proper equipment. you can take it to a repair shop to have them remove the freon, then ask them to chrage the a/c system after you repair the problem. But remember they will charge you for the 2 different labor times. and any additional freon they replace. make sure you get a proof of how much the evacuated so you don't get over charged when they charge the system. (you can drive your blazer or any vehicle without having the A/C charged) next remove the serpentine belt. there is a tensioner pulley that needs to be turned in the proper direction to release the tension on the belt so you can remove it. then unbolt the A/C lines that attach to the compressor. (if you can access them with out removing the unit. then remove the a/c unit by unbolting it from the engine. sometimes it's hard to reach, but if memory serves my right the one on your blazer is on top? then once you have replaced the old unit with a new one, reverse these steps and use new gaskets for all a/c line connections (or you will have a leak).
