Paraphrasing from the service manual: 1. disconnect the battery. 2. Remove the cooling fan next to the alternator. 3. Put a wrench on the idler pulley and move it to the rear to lessen the belt tension. Remove belt. 4. Remove alternator connections 5. unbolt alternator plus one bolt holding a wire.
